Tourism in Szigetbecse mainly revolves around vacationers and fishermen. There is a 9 km long resort by the Ráckeve Danube branch that includes 640 holiday houses.
The village is not located directly on the bank of the Danube because of the risk of flooding.  Instead, Szigetbecse is about 600-1000 metres inland from the Danube, separated by fields, meadows, smaller reeds and forests. This makes this region especially beautiful.

Rocky Tarn (Skalnaté pleso)

Jeges tó, Lomnic

The Rocky Tarn can boast its spectacular view. Towards the southeast, the panorama opens up to the Poprad Basin and to the numerous Carpathian mountains. The Rocky Tarn level reflects a perfect pair – the Lomnický and the Kežmarský Peaks. A cable-car leads from the tarn to the Lomnické Saddle. The Rocky Tarn dries up due to construction of nearby buildings; in particular, the construction of a cable-car station breached the impermeable subsoil.
